RUAHA AND SURROUNDINGS
The largest national park in Tanzania is a yet undiscovered gem. This conservation sanctuary offers guests the sensation of being completely alone, with forest and wildlife all around.
“The Link” between Ruaha and Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar and Selous Game Reserve in the South, as well as Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Manyara in the North, has always been one of Coastal Aviation trademarks.
The Westbound flight leaves Dar es Salaam daily at 8:30, waiting for the connection coming from Zanzibar. It is operated by a Cessna 208 Caravan flies via Selous and continues on to Ruaha.
The Southbound FAST CLASS flight leaves Arusha at 08:15, flies via the Serengeti to pick up guest in the “Migration Capital”, Seronera and then continues on to reach Ruaha at 11:30.
From all other Serengeti airstrips, Lake Manyara and Tarangire a Caravan flight is available on request, connecting with the FAST CLASS flight in Seronera.
The FAST CLASS flight from Ruaha departs at 11:45 flies directly to Zanzibar and continues on to reach Dar at 13:45.
The Eastbound flight Ruaha – Selous – Dar, waiting for FAST CLASS from Serengeti, improved the Serengeti – Selous connection by 4 hours, compared to the previous route via Arusha and Zanzibar.
FAST CLASS flights are operated on the fast and comfortable Pilatus PC12 in a pressurized jet like style.
# The Arusha – Serengeti – Ruaha – Zanzibar – Dar FAST CLASS flight requires a minimum of 2 seats per booking.
# The “Migration Capital” is Grumeti for June, Kogatende from July to November and Ndutu from December to 15th March.
# The FAST CLASS flight does not operate from 16th March to 31st May each year.
