We regret to inform you that our beloved founder Nicola Colangelo died in Fiumaretta, Italy, on the 24th July at the age of 73. Nicola is survived by Carolina Colangelo, his devoted wife, his mother, Delma Ventarelli, and his brother, Franco Colangelo. Nicola has also left behind an extended family of people he adopted along the way, who all shared his vision.

We would like to remind all our passengers travelling from the Maasai Mara to The Serengeti via Migori and Tarime need to have a valid Yellow Fever Certificate. 05/22/2017 Selous flights update

Please take note of the changes affecting our flights in Selous Game Reserve from the 1st of June 2017. We decided to postpone the afternoon flight into Selous to 16:30hrs. As a consequence of the above postponement we will no longer be able to operate the late afternoon flight out of Selous, which will be regretfully removed from the schedule with immediate effect. 12/19/2016 New Ruaha flight and FAST class

We are delighted to announce a new series of flights involving the Ruaha National Park that will commence operations on 1st June 2017. These flights will be daily and operated by our 9 seat Pilatus PC12 (fast and pressurised) aircraft. By increasing the efficiency of this operation, we are able to significantly reduce the cost of flights from the Serengeti to Ruaha. It will operate with the usual timings:

Arusha (13:00) – Ruaha (14:20)

01/05/2016 Selous Afternoon Flights Adjusted

As a consequence of the recent schedule changes introduced by Qatar Airways, and following the increasing demand from many of our partners for a later flight we decided to postpone our afternoon Selous flights (CQ305 and CQ 306) by 50 minutes.

The new schedule, effective from June 1st, is as follows:
Dar (16:00) – Selous (17:05)
Selous (17:10) Dar (18:15)

21/02/2015 Discontinuation of International Flights in Tarime

The Tanzanian authorities announced with immediate effect, that Tarime airstrip is no longer an entry/exit point of the country. This affects our following flights:

Nairobi Route: minimal impact, the flights will continue using Musoma for customs and immigration.
Entebbe Route: Unfortunately  this route is discontinued. We will honor all existing bookings, and in the meantime work on a viable solution to bring the flight back.
Serengeti Masaai Mara Route: this route will not be affected. The connection between Serengeti and Masai Mara via Tarime and Migori continues as normal

12/01/2015 Zanzibar – The “Middle East” Connection

New afternoon flight from Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar to Arusha.

The flight will allow passengers arriving to Tanzania with Emirates Airline, Qatar Airways or Oman Air to fly straight to Arusha and get there before sunset.The flight is also suitable for domestic connections coming from Selous GR, Ruaha NP and Mafia island.
The flight will be operational from March 1st 2015.

12/01/2015 Flight Changes

Due to recent regulations by Mozambican authorities that made our operation in the country more costly we are forced to discontinue our shared charter to Quirimbas islands from March 1st 2015. 
With the introduction of the new “Middle East Connection” our existing Zanzibar to Arusha afternoon flight will be postponed to 16:00 and will discontinue the intermediate stops in Pangani (Mashado) and Kilimanjaro International Airport. Pangani will continue to be served by our morning route along the coast. The new ETA in Arusha will be at 18:20.

01/12/2012 Coastal links Kigali to Serengeti and Maasai Mara

The link works out as follows:
Dep Arusha 13:00 – Arr Kigali 17:30hrs
The flight to Mwanza and Kigali waits for the Coastal flights from Dar and Zanzibar. At 13:00hrs, it departs Arusha (via Lake Manyara and the Serengeti) to Mwanza where it arrives at 15:00 hrs.
Dep Kigali 06:00 – Arr Arusha 12:05hrs
The flight Kigali to Arusha departs Kigali on share charter basis at 06:00hrs arriving Mwanza at 08:00hrs.
(Tanzania time is ONE hour ahead of Rwanda).
