We are extremely glad and proud to be the official local airline of Sauti za Busara 2017 and we increased the number of planes available on the route Dar-Zanzibar-Dar operated 24 times a day, in order to provide our best service to anyone who wants to join the festival. 02/03/2017 5-Stage Recertification and Tanzania Leadership Awards
This month we are happy to announce that we have completed the 5-stage recertification process with the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA). We are the first General Aviation Company in Tanzania to achieve this. 12/19/2016 New Ruaha flight and FAST class
We are delighted to announce a new series of flights involving the Ruaha National Park that will commence operations on 1st June 2017. These flights will be daily and operated by our 9 seat Pilatus PC12 (fast and pressurised) aircraft. By increasing the efficiency of this operation, we are able to significantly reduce the cost of flights from the Serengeti to Ruaha. 11/28/2016 Route changes (part III) – Increased frequency between Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar
We are glad to inform you that we are increasing the frequency of our connections between Dar es Saalam and Zanzibar. Starting from the 1st December 2016 we will be offering almost one flight every half an hour, during daytime, as per concerning press release details.

11/23/2016 Route changes (part I) – New Tanga flights
We are glad to announce that we are doubling our offer on Tanga with two additional flights connecting the city with Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam, effective from 1st of December 2016. As a consequence the timings of the pre-existing Tanga flights will be slightly adjusted as per concerning press release details.

We have recently opened a transit lounge in Dar es Salaam nearby the airport (only four minutes driving). Our guests can enjoy a complimentary transfer and take a nap in case of long layover, totally free of charge!

We have recently added two Cessna 208 Caravans bringing our total number of aircrafts to 28, the largest flying safari fleet in Tanzania.

As a consequence of the recent schedule changes introduced by Qatar Airways, and following the increasing demand from many of our partners for a later flight we decided to postpone our afternoon Selous flights (CQ305 and CQ 306) by 50 minutes.
21/02/2015 Discontinuation of International Flights in Tarime
Nairobi Route: minimal impact, the flights will continue using Musoma for customs and immigration.
Entebbe Route: Unfortunately this route is discontinued. We will honor all existing bookings, and in the meantime work on a viable solution to bring the flight back.
Serengeti Masaai Mara Route: this route will not be affected. The connection between Serengeti and Masai Mara via Tarime and Migori continues as normal.

Additionally Tanzanian Residents can now benefit of the incredible short term rate of 80 USD on both morning and afternoon flights.

At Coastal we do not tire to provide our partners with new ways to expand the network and….the business!
Guests can now enjoy a safari in the Serengeti, flying from Nairobi. This flight will be operated on Cessna
Grand Caravan, on share charter basis, any day on request, but will adhere to specific timing.

Dep Arusha 13:00 – Arr Kigali 17:30hrs
The flight to Mwanza and Kigali waits for the Coastal flights from Dar and Zanzibar. At 13:00hrs, it departs Arusha (via Lake Manyara and the Serengeti) to Mwanza where it arrives at 15:00 hrs.
Dep Kigali 06:00 – Arr Arusha 12:05hrs
The flight Kigali to Arusha departs Kigali on share charter basis at 06:00hrs arriving Mwanza at 08:00hrs.
(Tanzania time is ONE hour ahead of Rwanda).
